Very clean rooms. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. Lots of food - all different kinds available.

Be aware that right next to the Vayna a big hotel is in construction. So in case your rooms faces this side you will have the full construction noise all day long (even at night). Unfortunately this is also if you are at the pool and beach side. You cannot account the hotel for this, but this noise is extremely annoying. The hotel has a gym, opening hours are from 10am - 7pm. But even at 11 and 12 the room is locked - we do not understand why guests cannot use the gym prior to the breakfast. The pool and beach are (including sunbeds) not enough for the amount of hosted guests. Sunchairs are early fully occupied. Some guests reserve a sunbed bevor breakfast and come back later at around 12 pm. In addition, the hotel lacks cleanliness in the hotel area. Especially the beach is not being taken care of and also the poolside could be a lot cleaner. There is no passion from the staff - neither at the lobby, nor at the restaurant. In general, the hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately they don’t use their potential. We cut due to the amount of cons our stay and used the hotel right next door.

The staff were amazing, sweet and helpful. There is a private beach and a nice swimming pool. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

property was nice. the layout is a long slim rectangle. They set up a nice walkway down the side and the rear has the beach front pool and dining. The security guard was very friendly. Staff overall were friendly.

I requested a quiet room but I was put right next to the first stairwell and next to the housekeeping center. The noises in the stairway and hall could easily be heard in my room early in the morning.

The room was clean and beds comfortable. The pool area and restaurant/bar were also very nice. And the massage by the beach so relaxing! Staff everywhere were kind and helpful.

The hotel is in a calmer area tho it wasn’t a bad thing. There was construction next to the hotel so the noice bothered at times.

The location is vey nice! The resort is clean and new and the pool is amazing. You have a nice view on the ocean when laying in or at the pool. The Beach itself was not the nicest but we went there during rainy season myabe during teh main season teh beach is nicer and cleaner. The included breakfast was also really great, a lot of variety. The staff also ordered us a taxo to get around the island and was really helpful in general.

The only thing that was not perfect was a very loud construction site right next to teh hotel, but I think in a few weeks or months the construction will be finished. The beach was also a ltte dirtx and the water was not clear but that was because it is rainy season and nothing the hotel could change.

Great family vacation. The beds are very comfortable and the position of the hotel is great. The rooms are large and the breakfast is fair.

Don't trust Google Maps to find the place - the location is wrong. Swimming area was never cleaned of litter (beer bottles and other rubbish lay around for the duration of our 4 day stay) , the bins in the dining area could do with a clean and generally cleanliness was a little below standard.

Location right on the beach with a large pool. Short walk to shops and main road so a quiet location. Spacious refurbished room with good beds. Small balcony and large shower room. This is an older hotel that is being upgraded. The newer hotels on either side which have similar but newer buildings cost significantly more. We didn’t actually eat at the hotel there was plenty of choice for restaurants especially on the beach.

The pool garden area could have been cleaner. Sometimes there were beer bottles and cigarette ends from the night before. There was a young man who swept all the leaves from the car park every morning. We thought the pool area should have had preference. The balcony rails appeared to have been replaced by wooden ones. The design was unsafe because of a lack of support for the top rail. Someone could lean on them and they would give way. We didn’t like the ground floor room we were given. It had no outlook and was dark. The only alternative was a second floor room. There was no one to help us carry our suitcases up When you arrive at the Island on the ferry you have to get a small truck with seats to take you to the hotel. This will drop you on the main road. The short walk seems a long way in the heat with suitcases. It would be a great help if the hotel arranged transport to pick you up at the ferry.

It was nicely located at the beach

When I found the hotel, they have nice photos of the luxurious rooms, which I thought I booked. The room I got, was a run down old room, with a very har bed, so I did not sleep much. I did talk to the reception about my problems sleeping, but all they offered was a new room, with the same hard bed. If you are a good sleeper, the hotel is ok. But in my opinion you can get a lot better value for your money than this hotel.

The rooms were clean. Air con and wifi worked well. Pool was generally fine. Close to beach.

The staff are not at all friendly or client oriented. From the moment we checked in, the lady looked like I was disturbing whatever game she was playing on her phone. The staff in the restaurant - there are only 3 - were all grumpy. It took three days and a lot of "thank you"s to finally crack a smile on one of them. The man at the beach/pool bar only grunted when we placed an order. With regard to the property, it has not be well-maintained. The pool has some loose tiles at the bottom which we stubbed our toes on. The grass has gone bare in some places.

We managed to get quite a a good price even we made a last minute reservation on Thai national holiday. The bathroom is spacious. The beach is nice to walk.

The room is so old even if it was recently renovated. I didn't feel comfortable in the room.

The location is great. Directly on a nice beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Housekeeping was very friendly.

The place is not well kept. We had mold on the bathroom ceiling. The showers had really low water pressure. The garden and pool area don't seem to get cleaned - beer bottles, cigarette butts on the floor, overfilled garbage was not emptied. The pool had a defective light with cables hanging out in the water. The pool surround needs a good cleaning with a power washer. The breakfast was not great, breakfast staff not friendly, we ended up not eating there after the first morning. It just doesn't seem like anybody is motivated to take care of this property. There was a tour group playing loud and annoying group games with a megaphone right in front of the hotel, the hotel seemed to be ok with that. The restaurant seemed only open for one night out of the 4 we were there. They do not respond to emails - when we wanted to arrange for a transfer from the airport we had to contact them through Facebook. The transfer they arranged was great though.

The location. Its near to everything

Room is expensive. Not worth the money because its old and ordinary. Not to mention the toilet which is difficult to flush. Swimming pool is old and dirty, it doesnt look like in the picture. No good restaurant inside. Theres no free bread and hot choco for breakfast. Buffet breakfast is not good as well nothing especial.

To be honest the only things I liked was the beach and the pool when it “eventually” got cleaned.

The mouldy smelly room! that smelled that bad the receptionist moved us! even though I booked the deluxe room with sea view. Dirty bed sheets (had to be changed),dirty windows,dirty mirror, dirty balcony,dirty pool full of leaves and bugs! even a dirty hotel room door (no exaggeration either) list goes on. The hotel staff didn’t seem to care when we complained just smiled and nodded I even asked would you be happy with this an he said no! bearing in mind the room was 1600 baht a night! No help with bags and not shown to our rooms horrendous do not book this hotel!

Staff not friendly or helpful! No one could find the key for the room safe, telephone not working in room. The swimming pool was not clean

Great beach! The location is perfect. The staff is very helpful. The pool is amazing. great value for money. They recommended us about Nam's cooking class, which turned to be the best thing in our trip. it's called "Thai Cooking School"
